As many of you will know, the Ground's founder - Roger Collingham, passed away in July last year from cancer but due to Covid-19, we were unable to give him the send off we would have liked. We are now pleased to be holding an event in memory of Roger which will be to raise funds for Cancer Research.

We are excited to be using a previously unused area of the ground for a completely new sporting course and will be combining this with the Roger inspired disciplines of Sport Trap and high skeet to deliver a 100 target unique competition.

The event will run in squads of 5, going out at 20 minute intervals. Entries should be booked in advance and available squad times and places can be viewed by clicking the link below.

Terms & Conditions

• All entries to be pre booked.  Either call the ground and give credit card details, alternatively purchase an entry via our shop page or the link at the bottom of the page. We will then contact you to confirm your entry details.
• Payment is required at the time of entry
• Maximum 75 entries.
• Event entry includes a contribution to Cancer Research, funding of the cash prizes and one entry into the Prize Draw. There is no "Targets Only" entry fee.
• In the event of cancellation, the entry fee will only be refunded if the place can be re-sold. Where this is the case, the refund will be processed less a £10 administration fee, which will be donated to Cancer Research.
• Entrants should check in at the Ground 20 minutes prior to their scheduled start time and should be at the High Skeet range, ready to start, 10 minutes prior to their squad time.
• Any late arrivals will be re-allocated to a later squad if available. If no space is available, entry may be refunded, less £10 administration fee, at the sole discretion of the Ground management.
• There will be no refund for "no-shows"
• The event is "Open", there are no CPSA classes. Sporting will be refereed according to CPSA rules, High Skeet will be refereed according to CPSA English Skeet Rules. Sport Trap will be refereed as per the original rules of the White Gold competition created by Roger - i.e. Target sequence will not be on display or called (shot blind) one shot per target. All pairs are simultaneous.
• Categories are as described above, CPSA categories do not apply.
• Each competitor is only eligible for one "shoot" prize, for example a Veteran winner cannot take the High Gun and the Category prize.
• Shooting prize winners are also eligible for the Prize Draw prizes.
• All "cash" prizes are subject to receiving a minimum number of entries.
• There is no cash alternative to any category or prize draw prizes.
• In the event of a Tie, prizes will be awarded on an "add & divide" basis. 
• In the event that one of the "category" entrants wins one of the main prizes, their respective category prize will go to the next place down in the category or if this is not possible, the next place down in the main event.
• All prizes must be collected within one calendar month of the shoot date. Any unclaimed prizes will be sold and proceeds donated to the chosen charity.
• In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Ground management is final.
• Should the event be cancelled for any reason, all entry fees will be refunded in full.
• All entrants must comply with Cockett Farm's standard Terms & Conditions.
